My CD of Book of Shadows Scans will not be sold, so please stop pestering me; I have no way of accepting the money through Paypal.

Alot of people have asked me for scans, and all I can say is no.

Alot of people refuse to believe that I drew all of my pages. Fine. I'm not here to convince you. I know I have drawn so that's all that matters.

Also, I am not here to walk you through making your BoS; like a baby.

Do some research yourself. I had no-one there to help me, and mine only is what it is today after making 3 different BoS'. Practice makes perfect.

Granted my tips aren't the best, but you have to experiment. Take risks. Be patient. I spent 6 YEARS redoing mine over and over until I was satisfied.

Anyone nagging me for pages, take a hike.

And anyone with ligitamite questions I will be happy to answer.

You say you won't release your scans because you won't make money from them and you won't get credit for them. You know what? Shit happens. You're not always gonna get credit for something you do 100% of the time. But think about it, even though there are people who wouldn't give you credit; for one of them, there are a hundred of us that would. You should just post all your pages online for free, not for noterity, but for knowing that you'd be doing a great service to the community of Charmed fans. You have the best replica pages out there, you know it, I know it, the entire community knows it. There was never any monitary gain to come from your CD anyway, since the artwork is copywritten. They don't care if you post your scans, as long as you aren't making money from them. The only reason Alex, Willow's Warlock, Tallpoppy and others who sell full replicas of the Book of Shadows with the pages are still able to do so is because they haven't been caught yet. Honestly, I think you'd feel a lot better if you reconsidered and released your scans. First and foremost, you wouldn't be getting any more of these kinds of messages. Let's be honest, until you release your scans, you won't stop getting messages requesting scans; especially if you keep posting youtube videos. Yes, you put very much work into these pages and I commend you for this, but it's not like you had to pause the DVD to draw the pages from the screencaps. You admitted in a video that you got base scans, somehow, and you traced them and did the paintings yourself. But many of us don't have access to those base scans, so we can't even do that. The only way a lot of us can get scans at all are to buy Books other people have made for nearly four figures in some cases. I know you can't possibly condone that. Please, just help us out. Really, what is the point of hoarding all these pages to yourself if you won't help people with them? I really don't think you're the kind of person to lord something over someone just because they can't have it. I believe you're a much better person than that. So please, please help us out. I'm actually begging you here, please post scans of all your pages so the rest of the Charmed fandom can have a Book of Shadows as beautiful as yours.

Hi, just been reading you LONG message and i have to admit all these pages he does in fact do is all copywritten from the original designers, CHARMEDBOS.COM had to replace the headding cause CBS themselves told them that they had to change, so in a way Jamie is doing something bad here, Not to make him sound bad, but if he was to continue doing this, he may find himself in a lot of trouble, I don't Understand I too, have made scans myself but If i was to place them on a Disc and sell them I'd be in trouble, so why should Jamie try and get away with it? he never designed the original pages he only made ''copies'' I've learned that if people want copies of the pages to just send them to people, cause If i was to ''sell'' pages and moan cause i didn't get the money or credit... I'd think to myself ''why should i get money or the credit? i never originally designed the pages, I only make ''replica'' pages of them myself''' but thats just me, maybe Jamie thinks completely differently...

Hi Jamie,

First I want to say Thank you for your tutorial on how to make a BOS. I'm a fan of Charmed but never wanted that type of BOS. Since I am practing witch, thanks to you and your time and effort I can make my own BOS without having to pay 600.00 or more. My question is when you were doing the last part showing the pages in your book, how did you add the ribbons into your BOS? That is one part I don't recall you showing.  Great job I've been wanting to make my own "real" book like yours, but with my own personal things. I could never find how to make one until now. Once again, thank you I enjoyed watching all your videos. :)

Hey Jamie,  Keep up the good work.  Love your videos.  You are so talented.  Stick to your guns about not selling your BoS pages.  To those of you that keep begging/bothering Jamie about giving you his work, my suggestion is.......Do it yourself!!!!!!!!!  What Jamie has done is ART.  It is his artwork and he can do with his work as he pleases.  I would love to have the talent to do what he has done.

Thank you, Jamie, for sharing your wonderful work and ideas.  You have inspired me.

Hello Jamie,

I've been inspired by you to make my own book of shadows. Although I love "Charmed" and I'll try to make the cover look like the real thing, I'm going to fill it will Harry Potter characters, stories, spells, bad wizards and creatures. I'll try paint in the same style as you. I'm no expert but I'll try.

youre videos are great. I've used several thicknesses of kitchen and loo roll tubes. I can't find the same screws you used but I've got nuts and bolts which should do the trick.

ive got spare red felt to use for the cover. I will paint it green and I hope the red will give it a warm feel through it. I've made 3D art projects before. I hope this will be the same.

Other than the original prop used in the TV series, yours is unique. Nice job. Well done!

Hey Jamie, love your tutorial and you have inspired me to make my own B.O.S.

Just wanting to get a second opinion. The Bos I plan to make will be thicker than the one in  your tutorial as well as being bigger as I want my B.O.S to have full A4 sized parchment paper.

I already have the paper and in total the Book will be 2 to 3 inches thick (just the paper).

So what I was wondering, I doubt I could find a cardboard tube to make the spine of my book as you showed in your tutorial, so I was just wondering do you thing a thin piece of rectangular wood will work?

But I am not able to find the "screw post bindings" other than stores that sells 100 at a time, and I don't need 100 screws.

Where did you get the screws you are using in you video?

Thanks for the awesome toturial, you are a very talented artist.

I just wanted to ask if you would be willing to trade art for art. I sculpt little things here and there as well as some other things. i would be willing to trade some of my things for your pages. I think your art is amazing and your book turned out so wonderful. I can't seem to find pages of your caliber on the net. I've been looking for a few years now. I do have some pages that are decent. I can't stress how much this show has ment to me over the years. It's gotten me through allot so this would mean the world to me if you would consider it just a little. Thanks so much

Hello Jamie, I am currently making a book of shadows from your amazing tutorials. The book is basically all done apart from painting and aging it. For your pages I can see that you you have used Parchment paper. I brought the one you used. My question is, do you do anything else to your pages before adding the artwork and writing. The reason I'm asking is because many websites say to add some more tea stains to the parchment, But there results look alike darker to yours. I'm really sorry if you have already said this is a video, but I have looked and can't find it.

I'm from Greece and many people that I know are looking for a step-by-step tutorial, to make their own personalized BoS.  I would like to ask you some questions. First, what's the name of the font you used for the title of your site? Its very beautiful. And secondly were did you find the border for your "Abraxas" page (I seen it at you very last video, explaining how to print the pages). It was wonderful. Keep up the good work. Keep inspire us! I have a question. You already explained  what for a color a should use to make the pages look old, and that I can use alwell coffee or tee, but how did you do this Effect for old looking, How should I adopt the color on the paper? With a big brush or how? Take you time to answer the question.  ;)

Dear Jamie,

OMG, I must say you are the most talented individual I have ever witnessed on Youtube videos on the making your own Book of Shadows. I have had the opportunity of viewing your web-site and watching your videos on how to make a Book of Shadows from the Charmed Series. I made four of them, and did mine just a little differnt than yours, as I used a cirle and a star on top of it, instead of the Triquetra as you did. My first one didn't turn out as I had expected, but like you said, it takes years of practice to be perfect at something. Needless to say, my first one got sent to file 13 (trash bin). Being the Witch that I am, I like circles and stars. Moons, Suns, and everything else in between. I would love the opportunity of meeting you someday, but that probably isn't in the cards as I live just outside of a little hick town called "Marengo", in the state of Ohio, U.S.A. I am 63 years old, and love to watch the younger set be creative in every way they can. You simply amaze me!

Most Sincerely,

Rebecca Kiernan

Thanks so much for the compliments :D You're such a lovely woman ;) I'm glad to see you've been experimenting, and trying again! Most people are reluctant to try something more than once, so go you! :D

Thanks for watching my videos, and thanks for dropping by.
